Zoom cloud recordings are only available for 120 days in the Zoom cloud. To access recordings from the Zoom cloud, take a look at the CIT documentation. To access transcripts from the Zoom cloud, take a look at Zoom’s documentation. If it is past 120 days and your recording is no longer in the Zoom cloud, you can still access them via Cornell’s Video On Demand (VOD) service.
To make a video available from the VOD service:
- Visit https://vod.video.cornell.edu and choose the Login option in the Guest dropdown at the top right.
- Click on My Media in the top menu on the left.
- Select your video by clicking its title.
- To download the transcript, click the download button just to the right of the searchbar under the video.
- To share video:
- Open the Actions dropdown menu on the bottom right and choose Publish.
- Change the selection to Unlisted or Published and click the Save button.
- Click Share on the left of the page and copy the url under Link to Media Page.
Once you have the transcript file or video url, it’s recommended you share the file or link via direct email if intended for select students. If intended for the whole class, the file or video (using the Embed option from the VOD) can be embedded within a Canvas page.
