In Canvas, you can receive notifications through your email, the Canvas app, or via text. These notifications include changes in course activities, scheduling, and general Canvas alerts. It is possible to disable/enable incoming notifications across all courses or for specific courses in Canvas. By default, notifications for a course are enabled and match your account-level notification settings. If for some reason you do not want any notifications from a course, you can disable incoming notifications for that specific course.
